Jack was so excited to have his friend and family to help celebrate his Bar Mitzvah at the Meadowclub in Fairfax, CA!
Jack was so sweet at his Bar Mitzvah and Sheryl Denker Events + Design did a spectacular job at creating a baseball 
themed party at The Meadow Club in Fairfax, CA. Jack was very attentive to his sister, Lilly, whose Bat Mitzvah, I photographed a few years prior to Jack’s Bar Mitzvah.
The balloons, confetti and graffiti table were off the hook and these kids had an amazing time running around and dancing with the incredible Denon and Doyle DJ crew.

Bar mitzvah at the sweetwater in Mill Valley, CA – Trip

I always love photographing at The Sweetwater in Mill Valley, CA and this was no exception. At 13 years old, Trip, is already a very accomplished musician and he wanted his Bar Mitzvah to represent his musical interests. He and his band performed a very impressive list of cover songs and the walls were covered in Rock posters of him with his favorite quotes by bands he loves. They served the sweetest of the sweetest candy lined beverages and had a temporary tattoo artist making everyone rockstars! It was a grand affair and I hope Trip has an awesome life ahead of him with music carving out his path along the way!

Charlie was so excited to have his Bar Mitzvah finally after having had to reschedule it a couple times due to Covid. He had so much fun with his family and fiends after his service at Emanu-El Temple in San Francisco. The party was held at the Spinnaker Restaurant with jaw dropping views of the San Francisco skyline. I had an awesome time photographing Charlie’s Bar Mitzvah and the fun they all had together dancing and playing fuse ball and air hockey. I had the awesome opportunity of photographing his sister, Maddie, three years prior for her Bat Mitzvah at the Spinnaker Restaurant as well so it was a happy deja-vu being their bar mitzvah photographer once again.

Noah was so awesome at his Bar Mitzvah and Sheryl Denker Events + Design did a spectacular job at creating a baseball themed party at The Meadow Club in Fairfax, CA. The energy was super high and the donuts were gigantic (might be connected) but these kids had an absolute blast running amuck and dancing to hip hop blasted out by the very awesome Denon and Doyle DJ crew. Kaz and Kate b’Nai Mitzvah at Mill Valley Community Center

Kaz and Kate had the sweetest surf and beach themed B’Nai Mitzvah at The Mill Valley Community Center in Mill Valley, CA. They were so supportive of each other and I loved how their family and friends were so loving and ready to celebrate them. At one point the kids lifted them on these surfboards and there was such excitement and enthusiasm in the air. Photographing bar and bat mitzvahs are so fun as the kids take the energy to such a fun level and I get to take photographs that will capture the love for lifetimes.

Iliana wanted her Bat Mitzvah to reflect an enchanted garden and The House of Vivid Designs made it into a reality transforming The Los Altos History Museum into a fairy tale. I loved photographing her Mitzvah and all her friends and family honoring this incredible time in her life. She is such a sweet girl celebrating her coming of age and it’s nice to see such happiness and love surrounding her!

Bela was so radiant in her sari as her mother is Indian and her father is Jewish. She was so humble and kind to all her guests as I would watch her go pull in a classmate to include them in the dancing festivities if they felt left out. She was always aware of everyone in her surroundings. Bela had her services at Beth Am Congregation in Los Altos, CA and her party was at The Stanford Faculty Club in Palo Alto.

Hannah was so lovely and her Bat Mitzvah service was filled with so much joy. It was a pleasure photographing her and her family and friends at Hacienda de las Flores in Moraga, California. Bat Mitzvah at Unitarian Universalist Congregation Marin in San Rafael, CA

Paloma had to walk through a few disappointments as her Bat Mitzvah was rescheduled a few times due to Covid but she finally got to show everyone how hard she worked and all her family and friends came out to support her! It was a beautiful sunny day at Unitarian Universalist Congregation Marin in San Rafael and everyone was very happy as The CDC had just announced that people whom were vaccinated no longer needed to wear masks so everyone was mostly mask free and finally able to hug each other. I couldn’t be prouder of Paloma as she sailed through her Bat Mitzvah with ease and grace and the photographs show just that! Mazel Tov!

Just look at the love between these two siblings in this Mitzvah Service photo. Lily had her Bat Mitzvah rehearsal at Congregation Kol Shofar in Tiburon, CA and her big party is coming up soon! So I get another chance to be the best Mitzvah photographer in San Francisco. She’s such a sweet girl and I am so excited to watch her have the time of her life with her family and friends. Honestly, these kids inspire me to always try to see things as a photographer through their lens. They have such an open and optimistic vision of the future. I listen and then I did deep and try to capture the best and most honest moment all the while framing the photo with the use of available light, architecture and emotion so your bar or bat mitzvah photography will have a unique and personal point of view.
