Bar Mitzvah Photographer at Sweetwater in Mill Valley in Marin. Kolby in Zoolander.

Wow!  Having a Zoolander theme for your Bar Mitzvah is nothing short of genius. And to have your party at The Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley is off the charts! There were the best costumes and they even had a walk off where the kids acted out scenes from the movie and did their best catwalk shenanigans.  To say this party was FUN would be the understatement of the century.  Kolby was so wonderful at his services earlier in the day at his Grandmother’s home in Mill Valley but at the party he let loose!  From gift card prizes for trivia games, to constant yummy appetizers going around the room, a photo booth, a basketball hoop game, and a DJ that was fantastic….this party didn’t stop!  Loved every second of photographing this Bar Mitzvah party and hope Kolby and his family continue to have this much fun in years to come!

Bar Mitzvah Photographer Los Altos, CA.Congregation Beth Am Bar and Bat Mitzvah Photographer. Henry.

Henry is a big skier so wanted his Bar Mitzvah to have a snow theme.  Rachael of Rachael Cruz Events went all out and had an igloo the kids could hang out in that churned out fake snow all night.  They had giant pine cones, snow glob crafts and all the kids got the cutest animal hats for the winter.  Such a fun evening with great kids and family around to help celebrate.  The service was at Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills and the party was at Los Altos Golf and Country Club.  Such a fantastic party!

Bat Mitzvah Photographer in Palo Alto -Shaya’s Bat Mitzvah at The Corinthian Ballroom in San Jose, CA

Shaya is an incredible girl and her discipline and talent paid off recently when she won the National Junior Dance Competition.  So I had her do a lot of spinning for me when I took her portraits as no-one spins better than Shaya.  She had a ballerina themed Bat Mitzvah in San Jose at the Corinthian Ballroom in San Jose, CA and it was so much fun and each centerpiece had a pair of ballet shoes hanging from it.  I really love this family and wish them many more successes and happiness.

Bar Mitzvah Photographer at The Meadow Club in Fairfax, CA Marin County. Samuel.

The Meadow Club in Fairfax is perched at the top of Mount Tamalpais in Marin County is unparalleled with their views.  It is such a great venue for a Bar Mitzvah and Samuel and his family had the best time.  Jayne Greenberg of Just Jayne Events planned the most incredible casino night themed and everyone had a blast gambling the night away.  Lucky 7’s were in the house and I hope Samuel remembers this night forever.

Bat Mitzvah Photographer in Palo Alto, Bay Area, San Francisco – Ally in Wonderland.

This was the most amazing Bat Mitzvah ever — with an Alice in Wonderland theme, but of course they called it “Allie in Wonderland.”  Just look at these Bat Mitzvah photography!  These mitzvah images were bursting with fun and excitement.  I photographed this with mostly natural light and then used an on camera flash after it got dark. There was a Mad Hatter magician and circus games under red and white striped cabana tents, and a silent disco where everyone was given headphones to tune in and dance to the playlist of their choice. To top it off, the moms did a mob squad choreographed dance surprise for the kids with a hilarious confetti explosion at the end! Booking a fantastic Bar or Bat Mitzvah photographer is so important so you have all these beautiful images as memories or to showcase your images in an album which surely will become a family heirloom!

Bat Mitzvah Photographer. San Rafael, Marin County at Rodef Shahom and party at Peacock Gap.

Lindsey’s bat mitzvah was so lovely at Rodef Sholom in San Rafael and look at the party at Peacock Gap    She wanted a Survivor theme so there were many adventure games and the Bat Mitzvah party photos were so candid and fun!  I love being a bar and bat mitzvah photographer as I find kids at this age so fascinating as they are starting to look outside their inner circle at the world and how they can make a difference.  It’s a celebration of them becoming the adult they were meant to be.  I mean that’s an honor to photograph these moments!  Go Lindsey!
