The Julia Morgan Ballroom is a perfect place for a wedding in San Francisco. It has the most incredible art deco architecture so your wedding photos have the most stellar backgrounds and the lighting is spectacular to capture your wedding reception photos at sunset. The light comes in through the windows just in time to highlight your first dance as husband and wife. It’s an honor to be a wedding photographer and I know these traditions are so important to be captured in an photojournalistic way but to also keep them artistic and beautiful. Krissy and Max did a first look at Omni Hotel where they were staying before they hopped across the street to the Julia Morgan Ballroom for their ceremony in the lobby. The wedding reception was upstairs on the penthouse floor with the glamorous San Francisco City skyline peeking in through the windows. Fabulous wedding and such a fun and sweet couple! Here’s to lots of wonderful times together, Krissy and Max!

Chalk Hill Winery of Foley Family Wines in Healdsburg knows how to throw a party! It was their annual white party and everyone came donned in their best white apparel. There was the most incredible food stations from paella, to halibut, to trout petite fours to fresh fried doughnuts. And let’s not forget the wine! Wine was being poured and everyone was imbibing on this Sunday Fun day. Bill Foley, the owner and proprietor of Chalk Hill Winery along with 22 other wineries in the region and now proud owner of the Las Vegas Knights was in attendance with his wife and children. The Stanley Cup was there in all it’s glory and guests were taking selfies with it. It was a splendid affair with all the right ingredients for a wine country fete on top of the world.

When Lanya and Juan Zambrano of Firewood Marketing have a holiday party they go all out and here are some photos I snapped at everyone having such a fun time. There was a laser light show that didn’t stop and what I love about Firewood is how much they give back to the community local and globally and their philosophy… Good people make good business. It’s a beautiful thing.

It’s hard to say who has more fun when I shoot parties at The Sweetwater Music Venue in Mill Valley. 🙃 This is one of the best venues to host an event. It’s intimate enough to enjoy all your guests but big enough to get down and dance the night away. 🕺 It helps when the band is Tainted Love rocking 80’s dance hits to groove to. 🎤 Happy Birthday Mark! 🥳 Clearly you did something right as your family and friends love you to pieces!
