Petaluma Family Portrait Photographer -Petaluma Childrens and family Portrait Session- The Sarno Family

Usually to get kids to warm up I have to try to act silly to get them to open up… but the Sarno kids have more personality than you can imagine. These kids are hilarious. We had fun romping in the leaves and cracking up at each other. Love the Sarno family and wish them the best!!

Well, this family is just the cutest and I had fun getting some shots in their backyard with their cute doggie, Taxi.  What a great name.  I was amazed we found some leaves on the trees still and took advantage of golden hour.  Can’t wait to see some of these hung on their walls of their gorgeous home!

These faces! They are all so full of personality. Kingston, the little guy, wasn’t feeling it in the beginning so we all went and got a wicked slush 🍧or a Starbucks to let the sugar kick in. As you can see it did it’s job. Kinyatta is one of the most vivacious, cool and all encompassing love mommas I know and she gives everything her all. I loved photographing her and John and her tribe. Here’s to more sessions infused with sugar! 🍨

Petaluma Family and Children’s photographer–The Dunton Family

To say I love 😍 this family is putting it mildly. O’Meara is the epitome of grace and beauty and her and Bill Cover‘s daughter’s reflect their kindness and radiance. We managed to laugh our way through this photo shoot capturing everyone’s personalities, get a headshot of O’Meara Cover, lifestyle photos and great family shots to be revealed after the holidays.

When the backlight tips just rightly so on your family portrait session at China Camp Beach in Marin County you get this splendid halo of light.  I love how fleeting it is and if you don’t shoot fast you will miss it. We had a lot of fun exploring all the backdrops for the Kabat Family Holiday Portrait session.  Look at all that luminescent light!

Petaluma Family and Childrens Portrait Photographer in Sonoma County. The MacKenzie Family.

Love love love being a Family and children’s portrait photographer in Petaluma.  I travel to Mill Valley in marin County to photograph children’s and family portraits as well and these adorable boys made the trip totally worth it.  We had so much shooting these lifestyle photos and laughed our heads off.  These photos capture so much as documenting your kids is the most wonderful thing you can do for them and for you!

Family and Childrens Portrait Photographer in Petaluma, Sonoma County. The Campbell Family.

Love photographing these family and children’s portraits and this little girl is so darling!  We had so much fun as I photographed them at their home and so everyone was so at ease.  I love lifestyle photography and getting to be a spy for the day as I look for magical moments.  Being a family and children’s portrait photographer in Petaluma in Sonoma County is the the most incredible thing ever.  Family and children’s portraits are everything!

Belvedere Tiburon Family and Childrens Portrait Photographer. The Ivory Family.

The Ivory Family is just wonderful and all are super photogenic.  It doesn’t hurt either that Dirk’s home is over looking the San Francisco Bay and with views like that you’d be hard pressed not to get fantastic family portraits. There is a caveat though as photographing portraits on a sunny day where the backdrop is lighter than your subject you have to add fill flash.  That way the people you are photographing aren’t underexposed.  It’s a finely tuned nuance photographers have to master if you want beautifully lit subjects with backgrounds like this.  But, we did it and have gorgeous photos for life!
