I love it when a couple is so genuine and lovely that you just want to be friends with them afterwards. Allison and Addison are those kind of people and their family and friends are an exact reflection of that. What a beautiful wedding they had at The Lodge at Sonoma and the happiness and love was so vibrant I couldn’t stop taking photos. Such incredible details and the venue is just a magical place to capture all the bliss.

Mitesh called me as he was on a mission to get some great photographs of his upcoming marriage proposal to his girlfriend, Carolina. Being it was on a Sunday I as pretty booked up but I really love photographing marriage proposals as they are so beautiful and emotional so I squeezed this photo shoot in which took place at Inglenook Winery in St. Helena, CA in Napa County. Look at those smiles! I am so happy I found the time to photograph this magical moment and I look forward to their upcoming wedding!

Carley and Daniel both live in Texas but came out to Nicasio near Rancho Nicasio to take engagement photos the day before their wedding at Daniel’s Nana’s 900+ acre ranch. We hiked and rendevouzed amongst the heifer cows to photograph these images for their save the date cards as they will have a bigger ceremony next year in Maryland. They met in training camp for the Army and are excited for their next assignment which fingers crossed will be Hawaii. Sending good juju their way.

Hannah and Michael have been together since high school and they wanted Hannah’s sister to marry them on Tomales Bay in an intimate ceremony. They will do a bigger celebration next year but this was so touching and they had their dog Shorty and even a boat of excited fisherman cheering them on! I am honored to have documented their commitment to each other!

Caitlin and Nick chose the Montage Healdsburg for their wedding reception as they loved the swimming pool and view–You can’t argue that as it’s pretty stunning! I took their wedding portraits around the pool as the reflection was pretty dramatic! They were surrounded by close family and friends wishing them the best for their life together and after the wedding portraits were finished they all changed into their bathing suits and enjoyed the Sonoma County sunshine and took a dip in this beautiful swimming pool.

There are just NO words how much love Lauren and Marcela had not for just each other but for everyone who came up to the party to congratulate them. The love was so big that I found myself smiling from ear to ear as I photographed all the beautiful happy moments! And there were SO many I couldn’t stop snapping away. These two are absolutely stunning inside and out and they are over the moon excited to have met and start their lives together as are both of their families. I am so honored to have captured this beautiful engagement party complete with a Coachella style tent, incredible desserts, pizza oven and the most delicious paella you can taste. Everyone was so HAPPY to be there to celebrate at Marcela’s property in St. Helena which was nestled on a hilltop between vintage olive and oak trees. It was a magical evening and Arica of Events by Arica Grace turned the hilltop setting into a bohemian wonder of comfort and eye candy! What a night under the stars it turned out to be and I am so happy that this last year which was so hard to connect somehow Lauren and Marcela still found their way to each other. The proof is in the pudding they say and you just don’t get smiles bigger than these two have for each other. Big Congratulations and Love!

The Julia Morgan Ballroom is a perfect place for a wedding in San Francisco. It has the most incredible art deco architecture so your wedding photos have the most stellar backgrounds and the lighting is spectacular to capture your wedding reception photos at sunset. The light comes in through the windows just in time to highlight your first dance as husband and wife. It’s an honor to be a wedding photographer and I will always try to do my best as being the best wedding photographer in San Francisco means to keep exploring and being curious. I know these traditions are so important to be captured in an photojournalistic way but to also keep them artistic and beautiful. Krissy and Max did a first look at Omni Hotel where they were staying before they hopped across the street to the Julia Morgan Ballroom for their ceremony in the lobby. The wedding reception was upstairs on the penthouse floor with the glamorous San Francisco City skyline peeking in through the windows. Fabulous wedding and such a great venue for beautiful San Francisco wedding photography with such a fun and sweet couple! Here’s to lots of wonderful times together, Krissy and Max!

A lovely wine country wedding ceremony and reception at the historic Mont La Salle Chapel in Napa, CA. Briana and Matthias know how to pick a location. This little chapel in Napa Valley is divine for wedding photography and when you want to be the best wedding photographer in San Francisco a beautiful venue doesn’t hurt. It’s nestled into the vineyards on top of a hill and has European architecture to make your wedding images have a vintage antiquity to them. The gardens are so beautiful as well to take your formal wedding photographs or the couple portraits. Beautiful magic hour light comes in around sunset highlighting all the traditions so your wedding images reflect the magic of your wedding ceremony and reception. I love taking artistic photos on these grounds and the twinkle lights add the ambiance. Such a beautiful day for Brian and Matthias to tie the knot and their wedding photography in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lucky me to get to be their wedding photographer in Napa Valley, no less!

Sammie and Josh decided not to wait to have their wedding day and instead opted for renting an estate in Glen Ellen overlooking all of Sonoma Valley. They had a small and intimate ceremony of just close family and friends and of course Sammie’s Dog whom she loves more than anything! He was up there for the entire wedding ceremony and walked the mother of the bride down the aisle as well. It was such a special day with views that out of this world. And when Josh said his vows, tears welled up in everyone’s eyes including Sammie’s as she tried to wipe it away without smearing her makeup which made for a funny moment where everyone laughed. I wish this couple much love and success in the future and many more moments filled with laughter!

These emotional photographic moments are what make your wedding day authentically yours. They embody deep relationships over time that are so overwhelmingly filled with love and raw feelings. When I photograph a wedding I hone in on these moments and give them a life of their own to live on through a photograph for your family and your family to come. These organic moments are happening and I intuitively see it through my lens and frame it so it’s artistic and beautiful. I love these wedding moments of pure joy displayed through tears of letting go or new beginnings. It is my art and mission to not miss these but to bring them to you in your wedding photography images. I live for it.
The Mother/Son Dance at the wedding reception is so rich with emotion as she is so happy her son found his person and is marrying his wife but it represents the feeling of a new era and letting go of her baby boy. Such an organic wedding image that is so deep in meaning.
This bride listening to her groom say his vows filled her with such raw emotion I zoomed in through my lens and you can see the love in her eyes. She was so present and there with him even though their 100 + eyes on them.
