I’m pretty sure this might be the most alert infant I have ever encountered so I’m thinking that Miss Leilani might work for NASA in the next 16 years. I felt like she was staring into my soul through the lens. And….I just couldn’t be happier for Stephanie and Will. I’m lucky enough to call Stephanie a friend and I couldn’t be happier for them. What’s better than the smell and love for a newborn baby? I love being a newborn photographer and I love it even more when I get to be on the journey with a family being born. I photographed Allison and Gere’s wedding at The Bohemian Club a few years back and here they are now with a new home in the peninsula and the most delicious baby boy you can imagine. Love him to pieces!

Calliope was pretty alert for only being TEN days old I gotta say! So it was interesting getting her into a ball of yarn to say the least. She was a really good baby and Anna and Chris are the best parents already. We met in Saratoga at Hakone Gardens and found little nooks and crannies to take her newborn portrait photos and family portraits as well. It was a fun day spending time with Chris and Anna and it wasn’t that long ago that I was their wedding photographer at The Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross, CA. Bravo for making such a cute little nympth of the forest!

Look at this beautiful darling newborn baby! I just love them. I decided to wrap her in cheese cloth and make it almost womb like. It was a beautiful spring day so we could take her outside for her newborn portrait session in Petaluma. She was just a dream! I love being a newborn portrait photographer! I’m so lucky and I love her parents too –I got to photograph their amazing wedding! xoxo

I was honored to shoot beautiful Lani’s newborn portraits in charming Petaluma. Such sweetness to be a newborn portrait photographer! They are so beautiful and innocent and I wish I could just freeze time a bit to capture these newborns essence a little longer. It goes to fast so it’s so important to take newborn portraits and every stage of the way because when the time is over it’s over! Love children’s portrait photography too!
