Usually to get kids to warm up I have to try to act silly to get them to open up… but the Sarno kids have more personality than you can imagine. These kids are hilarious.We had fun romping in the leaves and cracking up at each other. Love the Sarno family and wish them the best!!

Look at this gorgeous family and I just love them to pieces! The Deerings show up at my house on a rainy afternoon and we start off inside as it pours down on us. Then there is a lapse in the downpour and we run around in the field behind mi case. Much fun ensues with their new puppy, Ember! Children’s and Family Portraiture is all about making it fun and comfortable for everyone. Because deep down we all want to be seen and heard and shine! Natural lighting for family and children’s portraits is also key as you want it be dynamic but I like to shoot with the most shallow depth of field so you have beautiful bokeh. That way the children or family you are shooting is the star of the photograph and the background enhances it by looking like a gorgeous Monet painting. And voila! Look at these two sisters whom I just adore to pieces and in fact so does my son, Hudson. So stinking cute are Lucia and Mila. xoxo

What can be said about the brilliant designer and uber amazing Robindira Unsworth. She is such an inspiration that I tear up when I talk about her. Her jewelry designs are works of art and she’s the kindest and most hard working woman I know. And Robbie is always there to manifest her vision with his steady and strong passion for his family. Childrens Photographer Tiburon, Marin County. Jake’s Birthday party.

I have been so blessed to photograph all of Jake’s birthday parties since he was one! He is such a free spirit and so full of sparkle and love. Look at these faces at his birthday party in Tiburon, in Marin County. I love being a children’s lifestyle and portrait photographer because of all the joy and fun these kids have at these parties.
