Petaluma newborn portrait photographer. Sonoma newborn Photographer session. Leilani.

I’m pretty sure this might be the most alert infant I have ever encountered so I’m thinking that Miss Leilani might work for NASA in the next 16 years. I felt like she was staring into my soul through the lens.  And….I just couldn’t be happier for Stephanie and Will.  I’m lucky enough to call Stephanie a friend and I couldn’t be happier for them.  Here’s to lots of cuddle time for you all. xoxo

Newborn Photo Session. Petaluma Newborn Photographer. Baby Cyril.

What’s better than the smell and love for a newborn baby?  I love being a newborn photographer and I love it even more when I get to be on the journey with a family being born.  I photographed Allison and Gere’s wedding at The Bohemian Club a few years back and here they are now with a new home in the peninsula and the most delicious baby boy you can imagine.  Love him to pieces!

Newborn Photographer in Saratoga at Hakone Gardens. The Peninsula. Calliope.

Calliope was pretty alert for only being TEN days old I gotta say!  So it was interesting getting her into a ball of yarn to say the least.  She was a really good baby and Anna and Chris are the best parents already.  We met in Saratoga at Hakone Gardens and found little nooks and crannies to take her newborn portrait photos and family portraits as well.  It was a fun day spending time with Chris and Anna and it wasn’t that long ago that I was their wedding photographer at The Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross, CA.  Bravo for making such a cute little nympth of the forest!

Family and Childrens Portrait Photographer in Petaluma. The Bisordi Family.

Ummmmmm…..vwatt???  Look into those tide pool blue eyes!  Let’s say Monica and Frank can make a cute baby!  Love here to pieces.  This was so sweet as I also photographed her mommy and Daddy’s wedding at The Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco a few years before.  So it was so fun to meet them and Monica’s extended family at The Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park to take some family and children’s portraits.  Love getting to be a family and kids portrait photographer for my clients after I’ve photographed their wedding.  I get to be a part of their journey the whole way through.  It’s quite an honor and I’m so amazed by how fast these families grow!

Maternity Portrait Photographer in Petaluma, Sonoma County. Desiree and Austin.

Getting to be a maternity photographer is one of my favorite things as there really is nothing more exciting than bringing a child into the world.  It’s such a fun creative time to get to explore ideas in your maternity portrait photography.  I love using natural light and if you can see the sun rays almost beckoning Desiree and Austin’s baby to come out and see the light, you’ll understand how magical light is.  We did their maternity session at a private ranch off D Street in Petaluma in Sonoma County and we had fun exploring the property.  We were about to wrap up when Austin says, “Wait, we need one more maternity photograph.”  Then, he goes over to his truck and grabs his hunting rifle and he says….”This is for all the boys that are gonna try to date my daughter.”  Both Desiree and I could not stop laughing.  This little one is gonna be Daddy’s little girl for sure!

Newborn photographer in Petaluma, Sonoma and Marin in San Francisco Bay Area. Evelyn.

Look at this beautiful darling newborn baby!  I just love them.  I decided to wrap her in cheese cloth and make it almost womb like.  It was a beautiful spring day so we could take her outside for her newborn portrait session in Petaluma.  She was just a dream!  I love being a newborn portrait photographer!  I’m so lucky and I love her parents too –I got to photograph their amazing wedding!  xoxo

Petaluma Newborn photographer. Lani and Luca.

I was honored to shoot beautiful Lani’s newborn portraits in charming Petaluma. Such sweetness to be a newborn portrait photographer! They are so beautiful and innocent and I wish I could just freeze time a bit to capture these newborns essence a little longer.  It goes to fast so it’s so important to take newborn portraits and every stage of the way because when the time is over it’s over!  Love children’s portrait photography too!
