Look at this gorgeous family and I just love them to pieces! The Deerings show up at my house on a rainy afternoon and we start off inside as it pours down on us. Then there is a lapse in the downpour and we run around in the field behind mi case. Much fun ensues with their new puppy, Ember! Outdoor photography on a rainy day in Petaluma, CA is just good ole country living!

Marbin and Maria wanted to do a holiday portrait session and The Hotel Petaluma has the perfect backdrop for some holiday snow and Christmas decorations. We had fun shooting on the Petaluma River as well….Petaluma has the best locations for portraits!

Couldn’t have had more fun chasing little Nola around and the whole Wheeler-Pomatto Family. And what’s more awesome is that they are my family! 🙂 This Petalulma family portrait Session is just in time for the holidays!

Laura and Gennady wanted to hold their 10th anniversary party at The Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa, CA because that’s where they were married. It was a beautiful day and friends and family came out to celebrate ten years and 3 kiddos later!

Look at these adorable kids! I had a blast photographing The Walker Family at Fort Point under the Golden Gate Bridge and at Chrissy Field. I love shooting family portraits at Fort Point as the light is so golden and dramatic.

These girls are on the move for sure! Had fun with them exploring their yard and taking their holiday portraits in Petaluma, CA. Fun photographing little ones exploring and finding airplanes in the sky or lavender to smell. Reminds you to stop and look around and find the simple pleasures.

Who doesn’t love secrets? They are that ephemeral thing like a butterfly you want to hold onto forever, but alas…..the journey is short. I loved shooting this family’s portraits in Fairfax in the redwoods. It’s all about the little moments.
