Wedding Engagement at Castello Di Amorosa in St. Helena. Amanda and Kamal.

The first time I ever saw Castello Di Amorosa after moving from Los Angeles to wine country was…wtf?  Am I in Tuscany?  Seriously, the Sonoma and Napa Valley Region is so similar in the landscape with it’s sweeping vineyard hills that is hard not to draw similar familiarities.  However, we explored the backside that looks like Kamal’s native India.  AHA!!  I love this part that your aren’t supposed to go to.  (Sorry!  What’s that saying? ” Don’t ask. Beg for forgiveness. ”  Well, it’s a motto I have lived by.  It hasn’t failed me yet.  So….Amanda and Kamal met in med school and they have become each others other halves starting as study partners. aAnd now they are each other’s support for the last 8 years.  So When Kamal proposed to Amanda she felt like they were already married. I loved these engagement photos and this setting is so epic I get excited to photograph here whenever possible. Possibilities on this as a photo location are endless.

Wedding at The Generals Residence in San Francisco.

Another perfect wedding at The General’s Residence in sweepingly beautiful Fort Mason, San Francisco. Beautiful backdrop of the city for wedding photos and especially the couples portraits with both bridges in the background of the images.  The lawn is also ideal for bridal party group portraits.  And the main residence has the best views for the reception to dance the night away with the bay sparkling in the background!  Wish these two the best in life!

Wedding at Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel and St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. Megan and Russell.

Such a classic San Francisco wedding! The couple got ready at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental, with formal wedding  photos taken at the Palace of Fine Arts. They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, and the wedding reception was at the St. Francis Yacht Club in the Marina where this awesome couple partied hard with a corn hole toss, photo booth and tons and tons of over the top fun dancing. The wedding photography was artistic and photojournalistic in style.  They also wanted to incorporate classic wedding photography into their images so we took formal wedding photography images at The Palace of Fine Arts.  I love using light and color to highlight my subjects as a San Francisco wedding photographer and each wedding venue location had it’s incredible light source so I had a magical day photographing Megan and Russell.  I always strive to be the best San Francisco Wedding Photographer. Here’s to magic all their years ahead of them!

Wedding Photographer at The Julia Morgan Ballroom, San Francisco Bay Area. Rupa and Rahul.

The Julia Morgan Ballroom in such a divine wedding venue and especially if you want to hold a traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony.  The open floor plan combined with the dark wood architecture is so incredible and provides the best backdrop for all the Indian Wedding traditions.  Rupa and Rahul had the most fun and even choreographed a dance for their guests.  I wish these two much more fun filled nights with food as the attraction.  These two are so much fun!

Wedding Photographer at The Pavillion by the Bay on Treasure Island and San Francisco City Hall. Jamie and Matt.

Jamie and Matt are so awesome I can’t even put it into words.  First of all I met Jamie at her friend’s LBGT wedding at City Hall and she was so tearful with joy I couldn’t stop taking photos of her.  She is such a kind and compassionate soul.  And Matt is her super twin.  He is so supportive and just adores Jamie. They wanted to have the opulent and non fussy environment of San Francisco City Hall for their wedding ceremony and chose The Pavillion by the Bay on Treasure Island which has the most spectacular views imaginable of the San Francisco skyline.  Look at their wedding photography with the city lit up behind them.  Gorgeous!  Love them both!

Wedding Photographer at Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael, Marin County. Mariya and Evan.

Mariya and Evan are two of the kindest souls and smart….did I mention smart?  Oh boy they smart and they got the degrees from ivy league schools to prove it.  But they are kind too which makes you just love them anymore.  I loved being the wedding photographer for these two and especially at The Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael in Marin County.  The place screams to me, The Royal Tenenbaums, the movie that starred Gwenyth Paltrow.  So it has all it’s quirky grooves and crannies and the place seems to take on a persona in itself.  I really can get lost taking wedding portraits in the gardens or in the parlor on the french love seat —well basically all over the mansion.  I love these two and hope they continue to have the best times of their lives together.  And being that these two are so smart…I’m sure they’ll do just that.

LGBT Wedding Photographer at City Hall in San Francisco. Jack and Ryan. Love wins!

This romantic love story begins with a long distance relationship. Jack and Ryan met while Jack was vacationing in Thailand, and after a couple of years of long distance courtship, Ryan moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where they were finally able to marry under California law. The hosted the LGBT wedding ceremony at San Francisco’s City Hall and their wedding reception was held in the delightful Japanese Tea Garden no less!  Because both Jack and Ryan couldn’t be more whimsical and fun I photographed their wedding photos in a very playful and artistic way.  It was raining when we got to the Golden Gate Bridge for their couple wedding portraits but I got the most awesome and unique wedding photo of them jumping with balloons with the drops of rain on my windshield.  We also took wedding portraits around City Hall and The Japanese Tea Gardens with their bridal party and had the best day ever —Yeah, Love wins!

Wedding Photographer at Hotel Vitale in San Francisco near The Ferry Building. Viktoria and Eric.

Viktoria and Eric love their city by the bay, San Francisco, and wanted to see all the iconic sights so having their wedding at Hotel Vitale on the gorgeous rooftop seemed like the perfect idea.  Check out the view of the bay and The Ferry Building as Viktoria tosses her bouquet to the deck below.  Such an amazing venue for your San Francisco wedding and I love being the wedding photographer at Hotel Vitale as it’s located in the Embarcadero in the middle of everything that is San Francisco.  I hope Viktoria and Eric have so many more wonderful adventures together and wish  them a lifetime of happiness!

Wedding photographer at The Generals Residence and Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco Bay Area. Leah and Aria.

Leah and Aria are so much fun as you can see by the groomsmen in their matching red boxer shorts! They chose The Generals Residence in the San Francisco Bay for it’s incredible views and historical meaning. But for the bridal party portraits they couldn’t resist choosing a The Palace of Fine Arts for the background of their wedding photography.  Such an exceptional couple with so much love for one another! xoxo

Wedding Photographer at San Francisco City Hall. Michelle and Brett

Michelle and Brett both love San Francisco, the city by the Bay, so after their intimate wedding ceremony at San Francisco’s City Hall they wanted their wedding photos to pay homage with the Golden Gate Bridge. We also took some in some amazing artistic wedding portrait photography at Fort Point which has the most amazing spiral staircase! It’s all stone and you feel like you could be in a Scottish castle. Hope Michelle and Brett have so many fantastic adventures in their future together!
