Well, this family is just the cutest and I had fun getting some shots in their backyard with their cute doggie, Taxi. What a great name. I was amazed we found some leaves on the trees still and took advantage of golden hour. Can’t wait to see some of these hung on their walls of their gorgeous home!

I love shooting family portraiture in my hometown of Petaluma. There are so many great backgrounds for family portraits and children’s portraits around this historic town. The Low Family is a very artistic and theatrical group so we had fun doing different set ups in various areas around town.

Look at these super fun kids! They were hamming it up and laughing so hard while I photographed their family portraits, shot in Petaluma, CA. Their mom said she wanted to have children’s and family photographs that represented them the way they are so we let them run around the property and just be them. She also used the silliest photo for their holiday card! Nice move Mom!

I loved photographing these children’s portraits! They were as busy as little bees chasing bubbles for their holidays photos in which I shot in their backyard in Petaluma in Sonoma County. I loved the bokeh with the monet background which makes the photos look more luminescent and artistic!

Look at this dashing family I photographed in Petaluma, Sonoma County for their family holiday photos. Using natural light in an artistic back lit way I highlighted them like angels in their family portraits. I love aligning the sun right behind my subjects when possible as it allows them to just glow! Beautiful family in their holiday photos all shot in the country in Petaluma, CA!
