Wedding Photographer at Calistoga Ranch in Calistoga, CA. Castello di Amorosa in Sonoma Napa Wedding Photographer. Jessica and Jake.

Jessica and Jake were too cute.  They had a very intimate ceremony at Calistoga Ranch and then we went on an excursion to Castello di Amorosa in Napa Wine Country and took some more photos.  We had such a fun time sipping champagne and snapping photos.  I mean, come on….it’s wine country so when in Rome….Wish these two a lifetime of more adventures together.

San Francisco Wedding Photographer. Petaluma Photographer. Chrissy Fields, San Francisco. Murali and Prista.

So sometimes the internet can work in mysterious ways and Murali and Prista found my work online from Singapore and wanted to do an engagement session while they were in San Francisco.  We had a blast together and I hope they are snuggled as two bugs in a rug back in Singapore.  xoxo

Oakland Wedding Photographer. Berkeley City Club Wedding. Showing and Micah.

Couldn’t be more excited about photographing at The Berkeley City Club with all it’s timeless architecture and history.  It was a super fun wedding and Showing and Micah were thrilled to tie the knot at this historic landmark. Showing even had Micah compete in a warrior competition.  Which he completed with all his fervor!  He’s gonna make a good husband…. Congratulations to you both!

Wedding and engagement photographer in San Francisco Bay Area. Engagement photo session in Monument Valley looks like a movie…Abigail and Ian.

Here’s the formula for an engagement shoot that looks like film stills from a cool western film full of adventure, intrigue, and romance…

We road tripped for a weekend to Monument Valley — once we were there, we explored Native American reservations, the arches, and had a blast!  Abigail and Ian were going to get married at Viansa Winery but wanted a different feeling for their engagement photography.  As a wedding and engagement photographer in San Francisco I was more than thrilled to get to road trip and take awesome engagement photos in an artistic and editorial way in the red sand dunes.  Such an incredible engagement session as the photos speak for themselves.  Wait until the wedding in Sonoma Valley at Viansa Winery--the heart of wine country!

Wedding photographer at City Club San Francisco. Nicole & Chuck.

A classic and gorgeous Christmas time wedding at The City Club San Francisco. I love being the wedding photographer at Christmas weddings with all the decorations and the twinkly lights. I think they make for great bokeh in your wedding photos as they blow out all big and fuzzy in the background of the photos.  I also like shooting things like the bouquet with a reflection in a glass table as it has an artistic touch to them.  But the best part about weddings at The City Club is the roof.  Look at the skyline of San Francisco behind this wedding couple.  I mean talk about an incredible couple portrait from their San Francisco Christmas time wedding!  Yeah!

Cheers to Nicole and Chuck!

Wedding Photographer at Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley. Alexandra and Jude.

Congrats Alexandra and Jude! I loved being a wedding photographer at this fantastic ceremony and reception at Calistoga Ranch complete with bongo drums accompanying the guests from the upper lawn on the lake to the wine cave for dancing. That’s right, a wine cave for dancing. This wedding was so much fun for all — a perfect reflection of Alie and Jude’s fun-loving and warmhearted natures. Jude is from Tortuga and so many of his friends and family flew in from the Caribbean to be there to witness his wedding to beautiful, Alie.  They wanted their wedding photography to reflect the Puerto Rican side of Alli’s family and Jude’s  Tortugan ancestry. I love the wedding photo of the flower girl looking out the window while Alie get’s her hair done. I used natural light and the little girl’s face just beamed sunshine in this artistic wedding photograph. They both live in Miami and brought in her side of the family as well, of course. Both sides equaled each other in their love to party and their love for this beautiful couple. Wishing them much joy and happiness in their future together!

Wedding Photographer at The Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. Angela and Yuan.

Angela and Yuan were married at the coveted and iconic Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco It’s a fabulous wedding venue for your wedding ceremony and your reception.  The natural light that pours into the windows are so dramatic and the art deco details at The Julia Morgan Ballroom are so great as a backdrop to your wedding photography.  It literally frames a couple in their images as the architecture is so intricate and bold.  This was a FUN wedding.  The couple and their bridal party literally danced down the aisle for the procession and their recession during their wedding ceremony.  Such a fun festive group they had and I had so much fun as the wedding photographer capturing all this fun in downtown San Francisco!

Wedding Photographer at Emanu-El in San Francisco. Genie and Mark.

A beautiful and classic Jewish wedding ceremony and a reception with the hora dance at the absolutely gorgeous Emanu-El in San Francisco. This special day had everything, even the iconic cable car shot and wedding preparations at the distinguished Fairmont Hotel. Emanu-El has exquisite architectural details for your wedding photography backdrop and the lighting is divine.  Mostly using natural light in these artistic wedding photos I try to capture the raw essence of the space using ambient lighting.  These wedding images are beautiful as they are an artistic expression of the couple themselves and their Jewish values.  A San Francisco wedding photographer can have so much fun shooting the Hora dance as everyone is so vital and excited to be a part of this epic traditional dance!  You gotta move fast with your camera though as everything goes by in the blink of an eye.  I love the hora dance wedding images as everyone is so excited and filled with this innocent joy!  Mazel tov to this exceptional couple for many years to come!
