Glen Ellen wedding Sammie + Josh

Sammie and Josh decided not to wait to have their wedding day and instead opted for renting an estate in Glen Ellen overlooking all of Sonoma Valley. They had a small and intimate ceremony of just close family and friends and of course Sammie’s Dog whom she loves more than anything! He was up there for the entire wedding ceremony and walked the mother of the bride down the aisle as well. It was such a special day with views that out of this world. And when Josh said his vows, tears welled up in everyone’s eyes including Sammie’s as she tried to wipe it away without smearing her makeup which made for a funny moment where everyone laughed. I wish this couple much love and success in the future and many more moments filled with laughter!

Wedding Photographer at Calistoga Ranch in Calistoga, CA. Castello di Amorosa in Sonoma Napa Wedding Photographer. Jessica and Jake.

Jessica and Jake were too cute.  They had a very intimate ceremony at Calistoga Ranch and then we went on an excursion to Castello di Amorosa in Napa Wine Country and took some more photos.  We had such a fun time sipping champagne and snapping photos.  I mean, come on….it’s wine country so when in Rome….Wish these two a lifetime of more adventures together.

Sonoma Depot Hotel Wedding Photographer. Sonoma, CA. Carol and Rob.

Carol and Rob are from my hometown of Petaluma, CA and were taken aback by the charm and quaintness that The Sonoma Depot Hotel has for their wedding venue.  It’s french joie de vivre sparkles through and everyone feels like they have been transported to France for the day.  And the staff!!  They really couldn’t be kinder or more accomodating. Their services and reception were just lovely and we had the best time taking their couple photographs in field of grain and on the historic Sonoma County train.  Hoping these two have the most wonderful lives together.

Wedding Photographer. Wedgewood at The Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park, CA. Sonoma. Desiree and Cameron

Desiree & Cameron were married in Rohnert Park at The Foxtail Golf Club.  It’s a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photographs and there are such beautiful trees and a gazebo for your wedding ceremony.  Then of course you can go all out with the twinkle lights to create a fantastic dance floor for your reception wedding photographs. As a wedding photographer I think it’s fun to slow your shutter down and wipe the camera so the lights sorta dance and do halos under the couple.  I think this gives an artistic touch to the wedding photographs and highlights the couple dancing or giving a toast.
